The following two works are called Ekphrastic poems. They explore, engage with, and describe a painting, drawing, sculpture, or other form of visual art.
The artwork for each is displayed in at the beginning of each work. The artwork for "Paris Spring 1920" is a beautiful collage created by Nancy Simmonds,
like myself a member of the Indiana Poetry Society. It was slected to be the art object for the IPS's 2022 Spring Fling Contest. Membership details of IPS can be found
