I started down to Wat's a-visiting for the day; got down to Bain's and met him coming away. I then came back up
on the creek where singing-school was in full blast with a more than average attendance of spectators. I did not go
to the afternoon lesson till nearly four o'clock and did'n't come home till after the night session

and comfortably warm.
