Sunday November 21st

Not much space will be required to chronicle the events of to-day. No one went anywhere nor was anything
done except the feeding and wood-getting. My face was no better and made me fevery so that I could hardly
bear the cold, and I staid pretty closely in the house. Alvin had a pestiferous set of chillblains that afforded him
occupation. It was rather colder than yesterday, and clear. We saw no human outside of the family but John
Fowler who passed through about sundown

Teaching Notes: The below zero temperatures were taking their toll. Chillblains are similar to frostbite.
